C&C Denmark enters restructuring proceedings to strengthen Humac’s future

C&C Denmark A/S, operating under the Humac brand, has entered restructuring proceedings under Danish law. The process has been formally commenced by decision of the Danish Maritime and Commercial Court the 13th of august 2026.

The Danish Maritime and Commercial Court has appointed attorney Anders Hoffmann Kønigsfeldt from the law firm Bech-Bruun as the restructuring administrator.

The decision to commence restructuring proceedings follows the restructuring of the company’s Italian parent group, which is consequently unable to provide the additional liquidity required to support Humac’s working-capital needs.

Humac has made significant operational progress in recent months through cost reductions, logistics improvements and an increased focus on margins, services and profitable sales. However, limited purchasing capacity has prevented the business from fully translating these improvements into revenue and cash generation.

“The restructuring process provides a structured framework to protect the business and accelerate the turnaround already underway,” said Jukka Kohonen, CEO of C&C Denmark A/S. “Our priority is to maintain continuity for customers, employees and partners while building a financially sustainable future for Humac.”

Humac will continue operating under the supervision of the court-appointed restructuring administrator. Customers and business partners will be informed of any material developments as soon as possible.
